SayAt.Me 2.0.2

Anonymity is back

In the olden days of the net, internauts were filling the chat rooms under cryptic pseudonyms, nobody would know who others were unless they'd get acquainted, or track their IP (in some instances). Honest opinions and unabashed discussions were the norm. People were just happy that they could communicate in a medium that did not impose political correctness; even though that term was barely in its infancy back then.

Today, having been inundated with social media platforms, we have almost but forgotten those olden days truthfulness. Don't get me wrong, (((social media))) helps us so much to share our latest meals or tell ZOG where we take our children every weekend. However being so exposed to the world has robbed us of the very things that made the Internet special in the first place. One of these was getting honest feedback. Well, SayAt.Me tries to counteract the effects of Internet exposure by providing a social platform where those making the comments are hidden under the vale of anonymity.

SayAt.Me

SayAt.Me assumes that we all have opinions about our friends and acquaintances, but we're too shy to tell them. After all, what's the point of gossip if not to avoid confronting the effects of your opinions? So, what this system does is let you set up an account, (disclosing your identity preferably) and create surveys. These surveys can then be shared to whoever you want, at which point others can respond to them without revealing their own identity. It's a simple solution to call for honest feedback. SayAt.Me also let you connect to other users. 'Befriending' a user subscribes you to their surveys.

The SayAt.Me app is in fact a dedicated browser that accesses the SayAt.Me web domain. In this respect it does not work as well as a computer browser does. For example, you cannot upload pictures. However, it's good to have the opportunity to send surveys on the fly from your mobile device.

Features

  • Simple anonymous surveys
  • Subscription to other users' surveys

Conclusion

Some might find it hard to use SayAt.Me, simply for the fear of the unknown. However I find this to be a powerful tool for personal growth.
